Jayla L. Wiliams
GFAF - Outreach Coordinator
I am Jayla Williams, GFAF Outreach Coordinator. I hold a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. My passion is improving the lives of our youth through movement! I'm a native New Orleanian, 2018 graduate of St. Mary's Academy where I participated in several clubs and activities. I am also a 2022 graduate of the University of Southern University, where I majored in Exercise Science. I was a member of the 2022-2023 Pelicans Dance Team and a dance instructor at Studio G Dance & Gymnastics Company.
I enjoy finding opportunities to expose our program participants to the fine arts!
Dhasia Benoit
SIP - Summer Camp Director, GFAF Youth Advocate
I am Ms. Dhasia Benoit! I'm a Spring ‘23 graduate from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where I received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Public Relations. I was a student at Studio G where my favorite classes were tap and jazz taught by Mrs. Tia. Throughout the years, I have kept close ties with the Studio, always lending support when needed. I am now a junior instructor at Studio G and the Youth Advocate for G Force. The relationships I form with my dancers and the creativity I manifest through movement are my favorite aspects of teaching! I also work as a lifeguard, instructing adults in swim lessons and water aerobics. I look forward to meeting working with you!
